My very first camera was a Kodak instamatic 110. I can still see the package it came in with the cube flash and the plastic catridge for the film. I remember taking photos of my friends and our parties when I was still in elementary school, and being delighted in seeing the result and how I could make it better next time.

Working in photography never feels like work to me. I enjoy a wedding or corporate event as though I were an invited guest as much as I enjoy taking the quiet time to set up and light for an interior or portrtait session.

My photography combines the skills and traditions my father taught me with my own perspective on people at important moments and events of their lives.
